One window is enough
A window is a very large soft source, and a large soft source close to a subject is most of what studio lighting is trying to imitate. Move the subject nearer the glass for softer light, further away for harder. That is the whole control surface, and it costs nothing.
Noise is not the enemy people think it is
I would rather have a grainy frame at 1/125 than a clean smeared one at 1/15. Modern sensors are good enough that shooting two or three stops higher than feels comfortable is almost always the right trade. The frames I regret are the soft ones, never the noisy ones.
